jenncos 4 Posted July 30, 2015 I am going to have my surgery at the end of next month. Being overweight puts a damper on your sex life for many reasons. So my question is after the surgery does your libido come back to life?

Slimsoon1988 123 Posted July 31, 2015 I was just talking about this the other day. At 275pds I had no desire to do anything. Now at 195 the urge has come back. I'm not sure if that is because I have more confidence and feel better about myself or if there is some internal hormonal changes.
amazon 579 Posted July 31, 2015 The lack of libido was certainly an issue (for quite some time) prior to surgery. It's, um...back
laguerr13 993 Posted August 1, 2015 @?slimsoon: I think it's a combination of various things, being more comfortable with your body is one, energy and stamina definitely go up, I've been on testosterone for two years now and as I lose weight I'm gonna ask to cut back on the dosage, my workouts are getting insane and I feel a bit more aggressive at times, and to put it tactfully and respectfully, I think part of the whole renewed interest and libido is also due to "more options" to have fun with ???? I hope I didn't offend my fellow losers,

I hope I didn't offend my fellow losers, I def agree with your last point regarding options. I haven't dated in 3 years and tonight will make my 4th date this summer. I went from not thinking about intimacy at all to now thinking about it a lot.
