Hello... July 10th is my banding date!

I am so glad I found this website. I will be banded on July 10th. I am 240lbs with 90ish pounds to lose. I am looking forward to finally suceeding for good at this weight loss thing.

Pre op Diet......Has any of you had a doctor who was not real concerned about it (other than the Clear Liquids for one day prior to surgery)

Hey your surgery is one day before mine :clap2:, yaaaay. My Dr. has me on a 2 week pre-op all liquid with 1 low fat meal per day.

Welcome to LBT and congrats on the surgery date! My doctor didn't have me do a pre-op diet. Don't worry, just follow what your surgeon tells you, each surgeon has different rules. Good Luck!

My doctor doesn't do a preop diet. Are you going to have to do one? Congrats on being banded. You will love it. Julie

That is what i was on clear liquid the day before and nothing after midnight.....all went well.....
