bigfatgoodbye 82 Posted July 29, 2015 Cramping is usually low potassium or dehydration or both. Drink more Water. Or if you have some juice drink some.
bigfatgoodbye 82 Posted July 29, 2015 Also could be effects of anesthesia wearing off or swollen tummy pressing on vessels affecting blood flow to your extremities. Most likely nothing serious once you get hydrated and get your electrolyte balance regulated.
_Kate_ 2,224 Posted July 29, 2015 (edited) I found it difficult getting Water down in the first 3 days so had half and half apple juice/water and drank that ALL day and night I know we are supposed to keep fruit juice down to 4/5 oz a day but whatever works especially in the early days. Try a few different things. Your pouch will accept what it can, then get as much Fluid in as you can and then some more. I hope you feel better soon!! jane13 2,256 Posted July 29, 2015 being mobile will also help with the cramping. even walking just around the house. hydrate like everyone else mentioned as well. good luck!
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted July 29, 2015 Hydrate and move as much as you can. If it is low potassium, you can try something like gatorade or coconut Water.< /p>
