rora 24 Posted July 29, 2015 This stuff is nasty! Horrible! What do you guys mix it in?
Daisee68 2,493 Posted July 29, 2015 Never figured that out myself - other than trashing it. UGH
rora 24 Posted July 29, 2015 I'm probably going to take it back to GNC if I can find a use for it. CANT that is
AngelaWilliamsMD 290 Posted July 29, 2015 I thought the same thing! Could never "stomach" the stuff.
ladycook9713 442 Posted July 29, 2015 I thought Isopure was terrible too. I haven't touched the stuff since my first week post op. The 2 bottles I had leftover I gave to a friend that was having the surgery.
FocusOnMeNow 599 Posted July 29, 2015 I can tolerate the fruit punch in the 8 oz bottles.< /p>
James Marusek 5,244 Posted July 29, 2015 I tried it and didn't like it. But at 40 grams of Protein per bottle I thought it might be a good alternative. It took me almost 2 hours to drink one bottle, it tasted that bad. I let my wife have a taste and she liked it. Others seem to praise it. So it is all a function of your taste buds. ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted July 29, 2015 Depends on your taste. I like the grape and my husband likes the coconut which I haven't tried.
SuzeMuze 338 Posted July 29, 2015 Isopure was a godsend in the first few weeks after my surgery- I didn't find anything else other than "New Whey" Protein shots (which I found were dreadful from the first sip, but when I was drinking from a 1-ounce medicine cup, I could tolerate nearly anything) that had more bang for the buck as far as Protein content. However, I do agree with @@James Marusek- my tastes changed, and what was palatable at first became very metallic tasting. I see those bottles now and my stomach instinctively knots. I'm sorry you didn't have a better experience with them
WL WARRIOR 692 Posted July 29, 2015 I used Isopure powder for the first 6 months post op and loved it. If anyone is wanting to get rid of their supply, let me know and I will it buy it from you.
LL112 63 Posted July 29, 2015 i bought the vanilla low carb one. i don't love it. But these days, i add 1 tbs of Peanut Butter, some ice, and almond milk and a pack of splenda just so i can finish the bag and move on.
blashlee 509 Posted July 29, 2015 send it to me!!!! seriously. i love it. drink it everyday. the unflavored in my coffee/tea/juice, the flavored bottles on the go.
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted July 29, 2015 This stuff is nasty! Horrible! What do you guys mix it in?Which one do you have? I buy the unflavored and add it to pretty much everything. I also like the ice tea. That said, if you don't like it, try something else. There are a million different Protein powders/drinks/waters/etc..... on the market. The key to success is finding one you like.
rora 24 Posted July 30, 2015 I'd send it but I'm in Kansas and the cost to ship heavy bottles would be kinda bad. ????
PinkPolkadot619 337 Posted July 30, 2015 I could tolerate it on over Ice, I was told to Water it down AND put it over ice.....It sounded like to much work and I only had to use it one day and then I went back to my regular Premier Protein shakes.
