PChayy05 75 Posted July 28, 2015 So I had the gastric sleeve 1 month and 3 days ago. All of my pain and soreness was gone a week and a half ago but two days ago I started having pains on my left bottom side of my belly, almost right above or near my pelvis under my belly. I feel it when I get up from sitting at work, or when I stretch my back. Not sure what this could be. I figured it might be soreness from internal stitches, but does it makes sense to get pain after I've been painless for over a week? And I also feel like the area of the pain is too low to have anything to do with the surgery. Not sure! Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated.

no onions 258 Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) It was explained to me by the nurse practitioner that it is normal for most most patients she sees. She said we often feel good the first week and then may over do it with bending, moving, etc. I went through something similar to what you've described and it lasted a couple of weeks.I also went in to see the Dr just to ease my mind. If you are feeling concerned, consider contacting your program. Good luck and speedy recovery. Edited August 10, 2015 by no onions
