SookieLei 47 Posted July 28, 2015 This past weekend we took the kiddos and went with a LARGE group of people to an amusement park. The first ride I rode, with everyone watching and my fiancé by my side I had to get off of a ride because I couldn't fit securely in the restraints. Of course I hopped off and acted like it didn't bother me, but had you taken my sunglasses off you would have seen my eyes full of tears! It was really embarrassing and reminded me as to why I was doing this. I hated not being able to enjoy myself with my kids, feeling inadequate and such an embarrassment to my family. I also, decided to wear a swimsuit which I NEVER do, but I knew my kids wanted to enjoy the waterpark. Lets just say, I will not be doing that again this year. Insurance can not approve fast enough for me! Any quick response times with Cigna insurance?
FluffytoFab 12 Posted July 28, 2015 I totally understand on how you feel! One big reason I am doing this is for my two little boys - I want to enjoy activities with them without feeling that I am being judged for being a "flufffy" mom! Good luck
The Candidate 3,215 Posted July 28, 2015 I'm so sorry that happened. We can all relate, but the pain is intensely personal I know. Make it a goal after surgery after losing weight to go back and ride that ride to the end. It'll be a way of replacing the bad memory with a good one. Good luck and best wishes! PinkieD 27 Posted August 6, 2015 My husband and I had 2 exit seats on plane for more leg room. Neither of us could get are arses in the seat. Steward had 2 go out and find us seats (not together), a cute little dance troupe sat next to me, AND I had to ask for a seat belt extender. Talk about a double vodka moment (jk, lol). Yes, I need this surgery.
