Monnie815 64 Posted July 28, 2015 It's a slow process but don't give up and just remember you deserve the new healthier you. I started my process in May and my insurance didn't require a 6 month diet. My process has moved right along. If the doctor insurance specialist hadn't took vacation I would already had surgery. I had appointment for tomorrow to set up surgery and guess what doctor has robotic training ( he teaches the class) so I am going new Wednesday. I am so tired and the limbo. If I knew I had 6 months fine I could deal with it. But the changing plans is a killer. Oh well it will happen in Gods timing. I really feel that this is in Gods plans for me. He gave us our body as a temple and I have let him down and he is given me this tool to help me. So gotta keep faith.

_Kate_ 2,224 Posted July 28, 2015 Hello Bill, welcome to the forums. You have started well by joining here. There is so much information here from people who have gone through it but I would also suggest reading as many books, websites and literature as you can. I'm sure certain things will be different depending where you are reading but it will give you a basis of what to expect and how to prepare. I think preparation is so important to good recovery and starting with changing little things now will really impact when the time comes. Best wishes and hope to see you around a lot!
