Problems with my troat.

Okay I'm exactly 26 days post op. My throat feels like I have Brillo pad scratching it. Has anyone had these symptoms.

Honestly, you may simply be getting sick and have the beginnings of a sore throat.

Did you use the spirometer they give you after you discharge

If it's in your chest, it may be reflux in your esophagus. When you said throat, I thought you meant airway. In any case, check with your doctor. Hopefully you are on nexium, protonix, or some sort of antacid.

Sounds weird but might be thrush.. Try listerine for a few days.

I had same problem Dr gave me Protonix took care of problem. My esophagus was inflamed.
