When does the nausea stop?

I say nausea....I mean that constant unsettled gurgling thing. I'm not sick like throwing up but I feel a little "ugh" all day. I'm 7 days post-op.

Are you taking an acid blocker...Proposed, Nexium, etc? You may be experiencing acid or gas bubbles. My surgeon prescribed a dissovable Prevacid and Carafate for one month post op.

Yes I take Prilosec 40mg.

Might be gas trapped. I was blessed with no gas pains but many swear that walking helps.

It may be tomorrow, it may be quite a while. But I promise it will go away. I thought I would feel that way forever....But life is grand now..

Day 8. I don't feel like eating but I'm trying to make myself. And drink. This feels a lot like morning sickness. I'm queasy almost all day. Going to the doctor and not leaving without something to help with the nausea. I have to work.

Mine came to an abrupt halt this week after my doctor gave me Zofran. I feel great now! Hopefully I won't have to keep taking the zofran very long.

I can only eat 3 tbs at each meal. Im down 60 lbs.
