Recommended Posts

I had stress incontinence really bad. It went away at about 50 pounds lost. Thank goodness!

Unfortunately I have stress incontinence. When I sneeze or cough I leak. I'm wearing poise pads to catch my accidents. I'm also 49 and have had 3 children. If I wait too long after I feel the urge to go to the bathroom I can have a little accident. Has anyone else had this and then after surgery it has gotten better? I need to lose over 100 lbs. I'm just hoping this is one of the things that gets better.

Honey I'm 35, had 4 children a complete hysterectomy at 30 and I have stress incontinence! My best advice is kegal exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor.

I'm pre-op, but lost around 50lb earlier this year. Whilst I didn't really notice it go away, I definitely noticed it get bad again when I put a stack of weight back on over the last couple of months. Looking forward to it improving again post-op!
