brr 17 Posted July 25, 2015 I am 5 days post op and noticed that I have been having cold sweats and just sweaty in general when I am up and moving about. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I don't know if it is just a post surgery thing, blood sugar, pain response or what. I don't seem to be experiencing a lot of pain but I know that my body has been through a whole lot and even if I am not feeling a lot of pain that my body has taken quite a beating. I don't have a fever either. thanks for your time! hope everyone is healing well
JessterNC 92 Posted July 25, 2015 Are you still taking pain meds? Sometimes when I take them I get sweats like that. I have also gotten them some for a few days after I stop taking the meds. Good luck with everything and hope they end soon!
jhclikesshopping@gmail.com 285 Posted July 26, 2015 I had the same issue for about two weeks after surgery. I think it was from my carb withdrawal- or my loss of sodium.
brr 17 Posted July 26, 2015 I am still taking pain meds. It doesn't seem to happen all of the time when I'm up and moving so I am starting to think it's more when I haven't eaten (drank) much but continuing to watch and rule things out. Glad to hear I'm not the only one though
maggie409 765 Posted July 26, 2015 I am six weeks post op and since my surgery I get cold sweats every time I have something that doesn't set well in my stomach. I don't get nauseas and I don't throw up but I do get cold sweats. Weird I know.
