liberattor 0 Posted July 1, 2007 The Cipro capsules are too big to swallow, can I sprinkle contents in applesauce and take that way?
piercedqt78 658 Posted July 1, 2007 Call the doctor or pharmacy and ask them. I believe those are time released. ~Mandy
TallgirlTX 0 Posted July 1, 2007 Hiya... Cipro is the nastiest tasting med EVER! There is a liquid suspension available. Call your pharmacy or others in your area as not all of them carry it. I just finished a round due to a fractured molar that had my face all swelled up. If it weren't for the liquid suspension I don't know how I would have gotten it down. self pay 3.30.07 The Man, The Myth, The Legend... deenae53964 0 Posted July 7, 2007 My reply to you is to make sure you let your doctor know that swallowing pills can be an issue. Many pills can be crushed, but some cannot. I automatically ask for either liquid or chewable forms of all drugs unless the pills are small. Most antibiotics are huge honkin' pills and hard even for the unbanded to swallow. Hope this helps!
