cole225 5 Posted July 24, 2015 I'm 2 weeks and 3 days post op I have had no complications so far, but last night I started having left shoulder pain. It is a throbbing pain, I read it can be one of the symptoms of a leak, and now I'm terrified that's what it is. Should I be scared? What could it be? leag78 469 Posted July 24, 2015 (edited) If I were you I'd check with your doctor, better to be safe than sorry. I know I use to get that in the very beginning, but only when I was walking. I talked to my doc, and he didn't seemed concerned and now I'm 3 months out (14 weeks). But still consult with doc and see what they say. Best of luck to you! Bufflehead 6,358 Posted July 24, 2015 Call your surgeon. May very well be nothing but only medical professionals can figure that out for sure, not internet strangers.
simplyamy 14 Posted July 24, 2015 My doctor said that left shoulder pain indicates trapped gas. Keep walking around!
hockeyfan7 249 Posted July 24, 2015 I had it in my right shoulder really, really bad. Turns out I strained it because I was using my arms to push myself up off the couch and the toilet. I'm right handed so I was using my dominant arm more.
