The Candidate 3,215 Posted July 22, 2015 So sorry to hear about that. My friend had the same issue. Got all the way through the program, and was just waiting for the surgical consult when they contacted her about an insurance issue. She's still trying to get it straightened out. But she is of course, like you, justifiably devastated. Sure hope your secondary comes through. Good luck!
TWEETYY_0319 4 Posted July 22, 2015 THANKS SO MUCH IT JUST BROKE MY HEART, BUT ONE OF THE PATIENT NAVIGATOR SAID SHE WILL DO ALL THAT SHE CAN TO HELP ME. ITS JUST BEEN A LONG 5 MONTHS, AND I HOPE THAT YOUR FRIEND HAS A GOOD OUTCOME WHEN DID SHE START HER PROCESS ?
The Candidate 3,215 Posted July 22, 2015 The program took nearly a year and she didn't find out until very nearly the end. The good news is that she won't have to redo the program, she'll get to keep her place. Just has to get the insurance straightened out. I feel for both of you! Karlnjax 163 Posted July 22, 2015 @TWEETYY_0319 Hi, did Aetna tell you why they will not cover the surgery? I also have Aetna and I am hoping I don't have the same issue
TWEETYY_0319 4 Posted July 22, 2015 My coordinator told me it was my employer. They chose not to cover certain types of procedures Idk
