jademanke@gmail.com 5 Posted July 22, 2015 So I'm 4 days out and I don't really feel like I get full. If I do it passes very quickly. It takes me a long time to eat things because I'm scared of overeating. Today is my first day on full liquids and I've had 40 grams of Protein which sounds like a lot for the first day eating protein?? I'm very nervous because after my surgery my surgeon said my stomach wasn't that big to begin with and he was worried about this being successful. I've been worried since then. Anyone with something similar.
ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted July 22, 2015 Full liquids are still liquids and they pass right through. You should not rely n restriction to see when you are full when you get to introduce foods. Measure everything so you don't over eat. Good luck!
Babbs 14,681 Posted July 22, 2015 Oh, you'll feel it when you start solid food. I used to say "Did he even DO the surgery?!" But the first time I had refried Beans and cheese and could only eat 3 spoonfuls, I knew
Willow822 24 Posted July 22, 2015 Yep! Just what everyone else said, when you start eating "real" food you will be amazed at how little you can eat! I think we all worry about that during the liquid stage because we can drink more than we expect. I can literally only eat 3-4 bites of dense Protein at a time. jane13 2,256 Posted July 22, 2015 @@jademanke@gmail.com - time yourself as well as measure everything out like @@Babbs suggested. Stop eating after 20 mins. when are you drinking? are you drinking while eating or right after?
