☁️9⃣B???? 55 Posted July 21, 2015 Hi.... So yes I know everyone has a target to lose a certain amount of weight by a certain period of time. Like 100 pounds in a year, extremely doable in a sleeve. But then again, if in 1 year you end up losing 90-80 pounds even that is acceptable. I have my birthday in 20 days and I need to lose 10 pounds. Now somebody please help me and enlighten me on how can I reach that goal. I have been losing 10 pounds per month quite consistently. It's my 4th month post op and I have lost 46 pounds, feeling great! Couldn't be better... But this birthday target is kinda pushing me and I really wanna feel extremely awesome on my birthday.... Please help me and guide me.
ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted July 22, 2015 Follow your plan to the letter. You may make it or you may not, its a marathon not a sprint as they say. Good luck!
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted July 22, 2015 I learned a long time ago I cannot control the number of pounds I lose. I only focus on what I CAN control: my Water and Protein.
☁️9⃣B???? 55 Posted July 22, 2015 Very well said.... Can't control the pounds... Can only control Protein and water! This should be my life motto ????
VSGAnn2014 12,992 Posted July 22, 2015 Absolutely agree with others. You are already leading your lifestyle. Treating this like a short-term diet (and trying to lose 10 pounds in 20 days sounds just like that to me) is the wrong mind-set. Control what you're supposed to control -- what you eat, how much you eat, when you eat (and drink), and how much you're moving your booty. That's what you can control. The scale will respond. And good luck to you.
