Zannie, I can TOTALLY see it in your face! The little puffy bags under your eyes are gone, and you look healthier!

I have the same deflated boob thing going on as you do. I keep telling my DH, that pretty soon, I'll have to ROLL them up to get them into a bra. So sad.

Zannie you can definitely tell the difference in the face. In the first pic I can barely see your eyes and in the second one they are sparkling! I can see a body difference too. You are beautiful and doing so awesome!

LMAO! That's precisely the reason I did NOT go for a ride tonight. HOWEVER, I did get in my 60 minutes today!

Get up 30 minutes before you usually do and get on the treadmill. Have your workout shoes and clothes right next to the bed. Better yet sleep in your workout clothes and put your shoes on first thing. It sucks, you will hate it no doubt. But once that 30 minutes is up and it is now the normal time you would ahve woken up you will be able to say "damn I am done workiing out, I don't even have to look at the treadmill if i don't want to". It will be worth it once it is over with. The first few times are rough but it gets easier. It seriously makes you feel better. It makes your day better. The farther along you go i nthe day the harder it is to workout. Especially if you hate doing it. Get the bad over first so you can enjoy the good for the rest of your day.

I definitly need to do this because by the time I finish working, Im pooped out. I just wrapped up work at 9 and be at it since 8 this morning. i'm not going to meet my goal, since i've yet to exercise:think

Zannie I see a difference too. Your face is slimmer and agree with Babygirl, your eyes are more noticable. You're doing great.

Babygirl you look fabulous too. I can tell a difference. You just glow.

Awh, shucks...thanks guys! :)

I've worn myself ragged & am off to bed... And, Babygrl, that extra Protein (;)) on your ride is EXACTLY why I do my exercise inside! :biggrin1:

Keep up the good work, everyone!

I've completed day 6 of 20 at 1 hour 15 minutes each. :banana

It's not that bad going from two days to three days a week. I thought it would kill me for the bit of extra time.

DH and I went for a 40 minute bike ride tonight, I have no idea how far we went, but I feel awesome. It was SO nice outside today, it rained all morning and most of the afternoon, and then the sun came out and it was beautiful! I hope it's nice again tomorrow evening, so I can go again! I rounded out my hour on the treadmill.

We walked about 4 miles yesterday since the weather was so great. My dd wants to do it again today. Saturday we're going hiking at a place called "garden of the gods", huge cliffs, etc once my dd gets home from camp.

Well since I don't think my weigh in is going to go well tomorrow I decided it was time to check the numbers. I have lost 7 inches since last month. 1 inch each in the chest, each thigh, hips, waist, 1/2 inch in each calf and in each arm.

That's great! I need to have my DH take my measurements....I have no idea where I am, but my size 18 pants are getting more comfy, even though I haven't lost anything in about 3 weeks.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
