frazildazil 18 Posted November 15, 2015 @Cutelretty1 Is your bmi around the 30-40s? I'm the same. Only one week per-op. I'm so happy about that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shipofools 2 Posted November 15, 2015 Getting nervous... never had any surgery before. However, I'd love to see my face again and I'm past ready to kiss diabetes goodbye. Dec 16 is The Day it Begins.

fatcinderellasball 23 Posted November 15, 2015 I only have 24 hours of pre-surgery diet and it's clear fluids. (40+ BMI). I'm feeling grateful for that. All doctors are different.

Glogyal 34 Posted November 15, 2015 It's definitely a journey. I'm feeling fatigued due to me not getting as much of Protein but oppose to that I'm never hungry. I still crave for foods but I forever feel full. It's just the fact that I'm so use to eating food, it's hard to adjust to this new lifestyle! Are you nervous about your procedure? Beck Gal 68 Posted November 16, 2015 I'm getting more nervous by the day! Still super excited and not about to change my mind, but it's the great unknown to me!
Amelia Bedelia 39 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) I'm so excited. I just got an email saying I could schedule my psych eval. I've met with my surgeon already. I called to schedule the appointment, and they had just had a cancellation for tomorrow morning. I've already beaten my goal weight for surgery by a few pounds, so I should be able to schedule the surgery this week. Possibly tomorrow, if the person who does scheduling has an opening. I didn't think I'd be this excited at the prospect of scheduling surgery. Lol. Edited November 17, 2015 by Amelia Bedelia

Sgt7546 69 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) So I call the Dr's office today to see if we heard anything from insurance. She says "oh yeah you were approved last week." See you Dec 1 for surgery. lauriev 71 Posted November 17, 2015 Got my approval letter in the mail on Friday, called the doctors office twice today trying to get talk to the lady that does the scheduling, she was unavailable both times ugh!!! I would really like to get this done before the end of this year simply because I have already met my deductible and next year my deductible goes from 500.00 to 1750.00; will make it work either way, but that is money I can spend on new clothes! Plus like so many others have said I take the end of the year off at work so it would be so much easier for me to be on the liquid diet without co-workers eating and trying to feed me all the time!
