Daisee68 2,493 Posted July 18, 2015 meat MUST be moist or it will stick. I seem to have a very difficult time remembering this one. Best plan is to have something to dip it in - hummus, yogurt dip, salsa, something. I was just grocery shopping. There was a sample of roasted turkey. I said no then thought "wait, it's Protein ". Shaking my head....when will I learn...not only had I been drinking so I was full of Fluid, I obviously didn't have anything to make the meat moist. It was only 3 bites, not even half an ounce, but it was a no go. I got thru shopping but nearly an hour later it had to come back up. It hurt too much. Learn from me. Don't take samples from the store - even if it is protein.....

Daisee68 2,493 Posted July 19, 2015 Thanks. I did feel better and then tried chicken today for lunch that I had cooked in the crockpot and same thing happened. So back to liquids for 24 hours and let my stomach rest and try again. I clearly am not getting this lesson.....
Ilikeme 5 Posted July 31, 2015 Thanks, I never would have even thought about those little grocery store samples as making a difference.
