seesuzyshrink 52 Posted July 20, 2015 I am so glad to read the responses from others. I had wondered about my energy level but hadn't asked. I am 4 weeks out and just starting to feel normal again. I still have to take a nap in the afternoon and I am going to bed much earlier than I did pre-surgery. I used to be quite a night owl...but now I am in bed by 10pm or earlier. I can tell that I am able to walk for longer periods of time (up to 40 minutes now) and don't dread the walking any more. I still have some days where I don't even want to get dressed...just stay in my jammies and lie around all day and read. So on those days I listen to my body and give in. I know I am still healing and shoudn't push it too much.
Soapandcandlequeen 124 Posted July 21, 2015 Its hard to answer this because pre op I was a mess. My Iron levels were so critically low that I had to delay surgery for t weeks of iron Infusions. I was also low on Vitamin D and was given a prescription for it so I pretty much felt like crap most of my pre op time. I am week 7 post op and I still struggle with my energy levels but do feel so much better
