So I leave for Tijuana to get sleeved in 6 days and have not received my passport yet. I'm stressing like crazy. Has anyone left Tijuana and got back into the U.S. with no passport?

You need your passport or you can't go. Did you pay extra for expedited? Do you live near an office where you can go in person?

No, you need to have a passport at the border. I had my procedure done in Juarez, and they DO check.
