hadderrie8 10 Posted July 17, 2015 I had my surgery on December 10th and have lost 75lbs. I have had severe shoulder pain in my right shoulder off and on since the surgery. I have discussed it several times with the surgeon and the PA with no resolution. A few weeks ago the pain in my stomach got so bad and moved up into my shoulder and behind my ear that I let my hubby take me to the ER. They ran some tests and found nothing. The only good thing they did was give me pepcid which eased it off. I get horrible gas and hiccups along with the pain. It's unbearable when it happens. Met with the surgeon yesterday and he told me to stop taking the pepcid and if it happened again he wanted to run a scope down my throat to see what could be causing it. I stopped the pepcid and immediately the pain is back with a vengeance. So frustrated that they have no idea what it is. Has anyone else experienced this? Beachsprite 118 Posted July 17, 2015 Have they scanned your gallbladder fir stones... sound like how I was when I had them and it was getting blocked up yet weirdly blood tests didn't show overly concerning liver results. Felt the pain up my right back / shoukder right up into my neck.
hadderrie8 10 Posted July 17, 2015 That was his first thought too but my gallbladder was removed years ago.
