2X4 4 Posted July 17, 2015 I'd be fibbing if I said I wasn't a little nervous about this surgery. Not the surgery itself, but rather what is to come after the surgery. You have a certain relationship with food for 40 years....then....BAM!.....here's an ounce of tuna! Enjoy! Does your attitude really change so drastically - so quickly? CrashNCamsMom 58 Posted July 17, 2015 Just remember everyone is different. Listen to your body. Protein first. Eventually, it will become " normal". Some people are able to tolerate some of their favorites (though at a much smaller portion) others not at all. Some don't even try to tempt fate. Only you know you. Dig deep and listen to yourself. What is most important to you?
CrashNCamsMom 58 Posted July 17, 2015 And yes, your attitude about food CAN change that drastically, that fast. ????
mtraverse 327 Posted July 17, 2015 It's really hard to get used to it. Honestly I don't miss too many foods but I do miss some that we can't have and I am afraid to eat some others. I think you learn as you go too!
