For those of you who lost 100 pounds or more or anybody did you lose weight in your feet? The reason I ask is that my feet are so big now and it takes me about 30 minutes to put my shoes and socks on and I have so many problems finding shoes that fit.

Also, did anyone find that their balance improved with weight loss? I call my self a weeble(weebles wobble but they don't fall down) because I feel like my balance is all screwed up. Can't wait to be banded - looking forward to a better life.:D

Thanks

Yep, there's a few threads around here about this, I think. From what I recall, many folks have lost at least width and in quite a few cases, a shoe size.

I am looking forward to it myself (being an 11W)

I've only lost 40 pounds but went from an 8 1/2 to an 8. I started taking yoga and I do believe that has helped my balance plus I find I am walking and standing much taller than before.

I was tight in my 8s and into 8.5 when I got banded. Now my 8.5s are swimming on me and I'm comfortably in 8s again. I'm only down 33lbs too. When I was young and skinny (in college was the last time) I was a 7. I doubt I'll get there again but maybe 7.5. I have skinny feet to start with (the only part of me that was skinny!)so not sure losing more weight will make much of a difference but you never know.

:DThanks to all whom replied. I forgot to explain that I currently wear a 101/2WWWW so my only hope is to get back to the 10 M I used to wear in college. Heck I would be happy with a 10W right now. But thanks again and have a great 4th of July.

You guys are great!!!:whoo:

Well, I'm down (unofficially) 44 pounds and I'm SWIMMING in my birkenstocks that I bought almost a year ago! Hopefully this info helps!

I've gone from a 10 to 9 - 91/2 but the best thing is that my feet used to swell everyday w/ Fluid , especially if I wore sandals and now after 58 lb loss , they're skinny. It's weird seeing the bones on the tops of my feet. Also my heel pain is pretty much gone.:)

I haven't lost 100 lbs. I am down about 85 since my preop diet. I definitely feel the difference in my shoes. I am not down a size but they are looser.

My feet, ankles and calves, and my hands, wrists and forearms are postively boney now - I lost about 85lb.

I didnt change a whole shoe size but6 I'm sure my feet have actually gotten smaller becuase I never used to wear closed shoes - I have bursitis of one heel that was very swollen and I always chose backless shoes - mules, clogs etc, apart from a few larger boots and winter shoes that I had, that were actually size 11, and noticeably too big but accommodated my sore heel.

I notice I can wear closed shoes again in a size 10 comfortably, I just bought a really sexy pair of heels for a night out and some new winter boots. So they have probably shrunk a little.

I also had to relace my running shoes several times where I've never had to do that before - because the tops of my feet lost fat, not that I had very fat feet in the first place but I did have to redo the way I laced them.

I've gone from up to an 11W to an 8.5. 11W was pretty rare, usually it was 10W, but still. I don't have to buy the W shoes anymore either. This was true at about 50 lbs lost, and now I'm at 85 lbs lost.

I just started, and hope to see my shoe size drop from 8 1/2 or 9W to smaller. But most of all, I want to be able to have ankles again!!!!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
