kashco 3 Posted July 15, 2015 I'm on day 9 of the liquid diet and I'm hungry, exhausted, moody and I don't want to do anything. Also, tired of the same drinks. My husband is very supportive but he just doesn't understand how I'm feeling. Does that make sense?
KarenLoh 128 Posted July 15, 2015 Of course it makes sense. It sounds reasonable to me. I start next Wednesday and am already feeling a bit "off" from the way I am eating now (very little in preparation). It's frustrating, I'm hungry, I want something yummy. I'm researching different types of drinks and can't figure out which one(s) to get. My Nut is supposed to call me before next Wednesday but I need to be ordering something soon so I called and left a message for her. Headache also - hungry - sucks. ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted July 15, 2015 @@kashco it def makes sense. This is a drastic change to your intake. Just keep your eyes on the prize and you will make it. Add free foods if you are allowed by your NUT. Ask what you can have such as sf Jello or broth. Good luck!
kashco 3 Posted July 15, 2015 Thanks for the feedback. I can have broth and sugar free Jello. The lack of carbs and no caffeine definitely produces a killer headache!
joatsaint 2,814 Posted July 15, 2015 Just remember, the liquid diet is probably the hardest part of this whole process. If only I could transfer what it feels like to be on the other side to you, you'd look forward to everyone of those shakes! :-P Hang in there, in 6 months, you are going to look back and see that it was so worth it!
