HealthyJudy 53 Posted July 20, 2015 But are you allowed to eat them. Maybe I'll ask my nutritionist. Eating prunes would be a real treat!
Stretch182 1 Posted July 20, 2015 I was 3 weeks post and couldn't (poop),spoke with nutritionist, suggested I try prunes. I'm regular now, almost 10 weeks. I can eat salads now which is great and keeps me going, pun intended.
rp1980 116 Posted July 20, 2015 Milk of Magnesia works well for me, although I hate the taste. But I've added two daily prunes to my diet and aloe juice and haven't needed the MoM. I've been faithful about Water and exercise, so unfortunately those solutions didn't make a difference for me. @@HealthyJudy, that's interesting you're not allowed calcium citrate for 3-4 months. I had to start taking it as soon as I got home from the hospital. The different recommendations are funny.
HealthyJudy 53 Posted July 20, 2015 Yes they are. I can't eat prunes -- no fruit. Do you add them to your daily carb allowance? I hate the taste of MOM too!!!
rp1980 116 Posted July 21, 2015 Yes, I can eat any fruit. I definitely add them to my carb allowance, so I'm often in the 50g range. But maybe I'll try the Smooth Move tea and then I can just eat the prunes a couple times a week. As long as everyone is losing weight, I'm guessing the different recommendations are fine. Still strange though! Haha.
