Hello everyone, Im almost done with the process of getting surgery. I don't know which one I should do. Its between the gastric bypass and the gastric sleeve. I want something that will help me long term , that will help me for a long time. I'm 27 years old. I heard the sleeve could get stretched out. I just want some advice or what which one would pick? I'm leaning towards the gastric bypass. Thank you in advance

Just an update. Im 29 years old now. After this post i found out i was pregnant. I had to put the surgery on hold. It was a surprise. Well i had my baby and after i had her i went to see my bariatric doctor and in less then 6 to 7 months i got my surgery done on december 2, 2015. I got the gastric bypass surgery. I was at my highest weight of 280lbs. I am now 170 lbs. I feel awesome. Im not at my goal weight yet. Im kinda stuck on a stall rigjt now. I might try the 10 day pouch reset to see if it helps. I started day 1 today. And i just ate a pretzel. Lol do i have to start over? ????

I want to thank you all for your kind words and advice. I really am happy that i did tgis surgery. I feel so energized and happy with myself. I am also a vegan. For some reason i cant eat meat so i decided to become a vegan.

Thank you all ❤❤????????

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
