chicken or turkey breast low sodium cold-cuts. I also bought chicken sausage with spinach and feta, grilled it up and then cut it into tiny pieces and took the casing off. One link is 15g of Protein and super filling.

canned chicken , fish, refried Beans, any other kind of cooked Beans, hummus, cottage cheese, ricotta and string cheese, laughing cow spreadable cheeses, and types of soft foods that are not crunchy or stringy like celery, cooked veggies. The most important thing is to not take too large of bites. Use the size of a pencil eraser as a guide and chew until nothing left to chew and use 1/4 - 1/2 cup at one time. Cheers!

I made a ricotta "lasagna" bake with cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, mozz all mixed together, topped with marinara, could add sausage or ground beef if your sleeve can tolerate that, and top with extra mozz. Bake until heated thru. I baked several in little glass ramekins. Each little ramekin lasted at least 3 meals. It was a good departure from eggs and made me feel like I was eating "Italian" food again. :)

For lunch I usually do tuna salad that I make (light mayo, dill and lemon juice) with 2 saltines. It fills me up. I have also tried chili and drain the liquid. For dinner, I have had grilled salmon and grilled zucchini (cut the seeds away), turkey meatloaf (was a tad dry so used ketchup), my FAVORITE, baked avocado with an egg in the hole where the pit was. Top with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese bake at 425 for 15-20 min. It is amazing!!! Tomorrow I am making spaghetti squash as a pasts replacement with some marinara and cheese. If you look on the recipe forum you will find lots of "mushy" recipes! good luck and enjoy!!

Tomorrow I am making spaghetti squash as a pasts replacement with some marinara and cheese.

It's funny, the first time I tried spaghetti squash it was served to me like spaghetti. I was told it was squash, but was told that it's spaghetti. I hated it. The next time I tried it, it was just the squash with some olive oil, garlic and a few other light herbs. Fricken loved it!

It's the same way with veggie burgers. Don't lie to me and call it a burger, it will disappoint everytime. But tell me you made veggie patties and I am in the right mindset for it and it's OK.

If you are looking for a serious Pasta replacement, I heartily recommend Banza chickpea "pasta".

14 grams of Protein in 2 oz?! Sign me up! I liked it quite a bit in a cheese and sauce bake.
