dgsleeve 1 Posted July 12, 2015 Can someone talk to me about how long it takes for this feeling of being so weak goes away
maggie409 765 Posted July 12, 2015 I am four weeks post op and I was very weak as well. My weakness went away once I started drinking at least 4 bottles of Water a day in addition to any Protein Drinks. My NUT pointed out that I was dehydrated. My goal for week five is to start getting in five bottles of water per day. It's tough but it will make all the difference. Oh and my bottles of water are 16 oz. Elode 8,093 Posted July 12, 2015 Usually subsides once you taking in enough Protein, fluids, just nutrients in general. It can last awhile. I know , sucks!
ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted July 12, 2015 It also takes some time to heal from surgery. Hang in there and drink!
hockeyfan7 249 Posted July 13, 2015 It took a full five weeks for me. I'm finishing up week six and I still get more tired than I did before surgery.
cjnorris 103 Posted July 18, 2015 It took me about 8 weeks. But at one time early on I was not getting enough Protein. When my nutritionist looked at my journal she spotted the problem. Good luck.
