☁️9⃣B???? 55 Posted July 10, 2015 Hello sleevers, Lemme give you brief on me... 29 year old, surgery date 12th March 2015 and surgery weight 248 pounds. It's been 18week post op now and I have lost 41 pounds. It's seems right on with the plan abut slow comparing to other sleevers, so I will hence not compare at all ???? This is my concern/problem... I keep losing weight in phases, like 3 weeks back in 1 week I managed to lose around 7 pounds and the next 3 weeks nothing happened. Maybe again in 1 week I will lose some weight and then 20 days stall.... My body is doing this! Now is this normal or abnormal? Am I doing something wrong? I workout 5-6 days a week either treadmill or cross trainer, I drink atleast 32oz and I eat my Protein 1st. I have always had a history of PCOS and crazy irregular periods, I had to induce periods... Post surgery I have had 2 episodes of periods, it's coming towards the normal category. My blood works are normal and all good. Then whats wrong? Why am I not losing on weekly basis unlike everybody???? Please help/guide. Thank you.
KristenVSG2014 1,872 Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) First, I'm also 29 and have PCOS. I was sleeved last November. Second, everyone loses differently. My body seems to have two weeks it loses pounds then two week "stalls" where I lose inches but minimal or no weight. I noticed this early on and I've had as long as three weeks with a single pound lost. However, try to think in averages. I set the goal to average 2 pounds lost a week since that's what doctors recommend. That doesn't mean I expect to lose 2 or more pounds each week. If I lose 5 pounds one week then 2 the next then 0.5 a pound the next two weeks I consider it a success. As you lose it will slow down so be prepared for that. I'm 14 pounds from goal and as you can see I've still maintained my weekly average with 2.16 lbs a week.
