scamp662 15 Posted July 10, 2015 Sleeve_Getter I too am hoping for a October surgery date. I'm 5'7" 300lbs. I've had weight issues my entire life. I was able to keep weight down a bit when I played softball and was a single momma. But since 1998 I have put on 120 lbs. I've had anxiety / panic issues but are pretty much resolved until I realized I'm very apprehensive about General anathesia (sp) that not being in control deal. But I'm also over 50 now with 5 beautiful grandbabies that I'm very involved with. But I have image issues and knee pain. My story is like many others. Just gotta Let Go and Let God......hope we can keep in touch.
mommyfrog3 41 Posted July 10, 2015 All surgeons and programs are different. I am 100% insurance paid. I have BCBSDE. So far I have just had to pay my copay which is $40 for specialist. And my hospital charges $100.00 fee for the program plus $60.00 for my nutrition classes. I still have to see cardiologist and pulmonary drs. Plus I already had a psychologist exam. It seems like your insurance requires a lot less than mine. Jumping through hoops but it goes fast so I hear. Good luck!
