This recipe, using any sugar free Jello you like + Isopure unflavored makes for an amazing dessert that is basically 100% Protein -

I have tried a few "flavorless" brands and they still had the flavor....but. I did find one that is flavorless. I'm so super picky. This is the one I can add to anything without flavor change. It's called bipro

Where did you find this?

I don't recommend the Isopure unflavored. Unless you are using a blender it is hard to mix with anything.

Try mixing it with a tablespoon or 2 of Water and a whisk, then add that to whatever you are adding it to. I do it all the time and it comes out completely smooth no blender needed.

FYI - I only need to do this if I am mixing it into a hot beverage. If I'm just mixing it with milk or even yogurt, I just dump every thing into my shaker bottle. It dissolves completely with no gritty texture.

got my order of Jarrow...haven't tasted it yet, but it has very very little smell, which is a good sign and what little smell there is isn't bad :)

I like the Jarrow! I use it daily in my yogurt and it doesn't change the taste much at all

I haven't had that problem if I use a Blender Bottle. I just dump it in and shake. If I am adding it to a hot beverage I dissolve it into a small amount of lukewarm Water and the add it to the hot. Never had an issue with clumping or grit.

I tried it in my coffee this morning and it was fine. Definitely can't use a full scoop on one cup though! ????

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
