Daveo 485 Posted July 8, 2015 Just thought I would share. The other day I went to lunch with my sister and for some reason we decided to sit in a booth( we always get tables for obvious reasons). Well I fit! and comfortably as well. I know not all booths are the same size but it was great to be able to sit in one and be comfortable.
joatsaint 2,814 Posted July 8, 2015 I call that a major NSV! I feel great when I can just slide into a booth, no worry about if the table is bolted to the floor and can't be pushed far enough away from my gut! No longer living in fear of dreaded booth seat! :-P
Djmohr 6,965 Posted July 8, 2015 I know right! I sit in a booth every chance I get because I couldn't for so long. Also because usually the padding on the booth seats are more comfortable than chairs or bar stools. Since losing all this weight my tail bone sticks out and it really hurts to sit at all. LOL! ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted July 9, 2015 Way to go!! I have sat at tables so long I forget how nice booths can be. My belly also doesn't touch my steering wheel anymore!
Daveo 485 Posted July 9, 2015 @@ShrinkingPeach I forgot about the steering wheel! yes it feels great to not feel that scrap each time you turn the wheel. lol
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted July 9, 2015 Not only can I sit at a booth, but I can sit at a table in the chairs that either back up to the corner or to another diner. My friends now try to put me in the inside squeezy seat that no one wants because there is no room and I am small enough to fit. WHAT!?!?!?!

I'm always in the squeezy seat now. I even started to do it myself rather than wait for someone to point me there. That's a big deal because it means I know I'll fit. What a difference after so many years of worrying about not being able to fit somewhere. I never tire of reading about NSV experiences @Daveo. Keep 'em coming! CanyonBaby 1,852 Posted July 9, 2015 And pretty soon you'll be reaching to pull the table to you, just so you can eat your meal WITHOUT it falling onto your lap, first! Loving it!
