One year out today

One year ago at this time I was on my way to the operating room to get my sleeve surgery. I was scared and happy at the same time. I knew that once the surgery was done, my life would change forever. I was ready for the change. It was a rocky first 3 weeks. I got dehydrated in the beginning, and had to sleep sitting up for the first 3 weeks. Once I got beyond the 3 week mark everything got so much better. I started my journey at 248 pounds and as of today I am 152. That is 2 pound below my goal and 6 pounds below my surgeons goal. I have maintained my weight between 152 and 154 since the end of April. I was in a size 24 and am now in a size 8/10 pant and medium shirt.
