Yes, I can eat more but I try not to by weighing my food safety I know how much fits. I went free music 3.0 Oz to 3.3 because my NUT said to go from 800 calories to 900-1000? Not healthy to eat so little. I still lose weight just very slow. But yes, I too am scared to gain weight so I'm very careful. Sw:285,current 179 yes saggy arms and stomach but I look great. Got my groove back :)

Thank you for the reply, I am very happy with the weight loss and also refuse to go back the way I was

Its exciting that I am able to walk up a few flights off stairs without feeling like I'm dying. I saw my nephew the other day and he didn't recognize me right away. I didn't realize how much I've changed until then. My confidence level is up I just get scared sometimes and know I'd be smaller without the hanging skin. I also think it is causing some back pain.I'm making an appointment with my surgeon soon to discuss possible skin removal.????

HW 295 Jan 2015

SW 257 June 2015

CW 159 March 2016

I was averaging 10-12 lbs a month. As of my 8 month checkup on 2/18/16 everything has come to a halt, no change. My diet or 5 day week exercise hasn't changed.

Any advice? still want another 29 gone

My surgery was June 9th. I'm continuing to lose weight, but it's frustratingly slow. I'm at 158 and would like to lose another 18 pounds. If I don't, I'd still consider surgery a success and am glad I did it.

Since we are eight months out I eat everything. popcorn and nuts. I eat Beans, Pasta and bread sparingly. It fills me up too quickly. I've posted before and I've received negative comments about my eating habits. But it works for me. I started at 200 and I now weigh 133...and I don't fluctuate much. I eat many times a day, but 4 or 5 bites. I don't log my food or count anything. Maybe I'm being naive or getting cocky...but I've done that my whole life and I feel free now. I can definitely eat more now. I don't think I've stretched out my stomach. I can eat very little in the morning, but as the day goes on I can eat more. I never drink alcohol, carbonated drinks, or juice. I eat chips, tacos, English muffins and Peanut Butter. Turkey Jerky, nuts, cheese, pizza, Sweets aren't my thing, and if I do eat them, it's a few bites. Don't eat ice cream. I love cheeseburgers (half with one bun). A taquito. Half a piece of chicken and four bites of salad with ranch. A few fries. Sweet potato. No fruit really. I eat what I want when I want...just four or five bites. I would really have to work at it all day and make myself uncomfortable to gain weight. I don't know if this is bad advice, but it works for me. I did lose 50% of my hair in Oct, Nov and Dec. It's growing back nicely now. That was scary!

Hi June sleevers, how's everyone doing? I had my 9 mnth check up and I am at 173, Sw 284. I'm still good with my eating mostly Protein as veggies. I look great and feel fabulous! I asked my Dr about skin removal if it's covered by insurance and he said stomach area is but not arms. So the stomach would not b a Tummy Tuck only skin removal but I could pay the difference, requirement is to loose min 100 lb which I have. So at my 1 yr well go over all that. So excited.

My fellow June 2015 peers....I have finally reached goal. My SW was 320 and have reached my goal of 175 within the first year. 10 months actually. Went from size 26-28 to 10-12. I followed the rules and exercised like a fool. Wishing you all success and better health.

It's kinda weird seeing June sleevers start to join together... June 2016 that is. I think June sleevers I think 2015, not 2016. Hard to believe it has almost been a year. A lot has changed.

Happy 1 Year anniversary! I have to say it did go fast. I have been very successful. I lost half of my entire body weight. SW 320 CW 160. I worked very hard and it has been worth it. My thoughts to all the other "June 2015" sleevers. Happier and healthier days to us all.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
