kell778 46 Posted July 6, 2015 I had my hubby take pictures of me the day of surgery from all angles and with clothing and with partial clothing. I have been complaining about the surgery (it has been tough) but oh my god. I look at the pictures and want to cry. How could I let myself get that way?! That's not me in those pictures!, not the real me anyway. Oh goodness guys, after surgery when questioning what the h*ll we were thinking.... Look at before pictures. You will feel better!!! ???? The Candidate 3,215 Posted July 6, 2015 You were so smart to do that. Pics, measurements and journals to capture every part of the journey, most especially the changes, are key to getting the most out of the surgery. After repeated failures over the years, we are so often unable to see the benefits of our own successes without this incontrovertible proof! And seeing it helps so much with continued motivation! James Marusek 5,244 Posted July 6, 2015 I took a before and after photograph. It is really amazing when you put them side by side. http://www.breadandbutterscience.com/Operation.jpg What a difference 6 months makes.
christina.banks 5 Posted July 6, 2015 I took pictures also. After 2 weeks, I put one the same outfit and took another set of pics. Wow what a difference! Definitely helps with the motivation. I completely understand no the feeling of how did I let myself get this way! I was always super skinny until I got pregnant with my first child then I packed on the weight since then. He is now getting ready to turn 18, so I guess the "it's baby weight" excuse must go! Lol.
