AlbertaSuccessStory 10 Posted July 3, 2015 Tomorrow marks 10 months since I was banded at SlimBand in Toronto. It was the BEST decision of my life. I am down 93 lbs since my pre-op diet started on August 20. I have no regrets. I have 14 lbs to go to reach my goal, and I plan to reach it by the one year anniversary date which is Sept. 4. I would love to help others to achieve success as well. Please do not hesitate to ask me questions.

AlbertaSuccessStory 10 Posted July 4, 2015 That is a good question. My husband asks me the same thing. But my body seems to want to weigh what I weigh right now. So I think that I will just be able to coast along with eating the same amount that I'm eating now and maybe giving myself a break on the cardio. i will remain active but will hopefully be able to settle down on my obsessive exercise. Amen to that! I have found, it is a lifestyle change, and I will continue the way I am for the rest of my life....getting to my goal was primarily a learning experience....some hard knocks with stuck episodes, etc..... BTW, I did continue to loose until my body was at where it wanted to be.... Congratulations on your success....you obviously "Get it"
notabandaid1 5 Posted July 16, 2015 Great to read about success with the gastric banding. So much of what is written is about the challenges that it can be a downer. Congratulations!
