I had my sleeve on May 18. 29 pounds down but have not lost anything in two weeks. Still having hard time getting all Water in. One Protein Shake a day. Still sticking course. Not exercising like I wish but I'm walking. I guess I'm not alone. Any more suggestions???

Wow I was sleeved on 3-10 and quickly lost 50 pounds. I have been on a stall for 8 weeks with only one pound lost. I am glad I am not gaining but I have a long way to go. Please help me get that scale moving down again.

Lost 20 lbs in 4 weeks after surgery then stalled and only lost about 7 lbs over the next 3 weeks. Started losing a couple of pounds again but gained two back this weekend. Workout 5-7 times a week, burning almost 4k calories a day, eating always less than 1500. Go figure.

The body is such a wonderful tease... Drink as much Water as you can, get Protein down and exercise more each week ... AND put the scales away for a bit. Try seeing how you are doing by how clothes fit rather than the scales say. I am sure you'd be surprised.

Be kind to yourself too :)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
