juliegeraci 7 Posted June 28, 2007 I am sorry this is happening to you. Just try and keep your calories to about 1200 a day so you will not gain. Good luck to you.
texgal61 0 Posted June 29, 2007 I hope I'm not being too forward here, but may I ask why you had to have the band replaced? (I'm not banded but want one -- I'm just now starting the insurance road trip)
ethansgrandma 0 Posted June 29, 2007 my band had slipped. i started out with bronchitis and just got worse. my stomach was 3/4 of the way up around myband, so they had no choice, they had to remove it.

Julissita 1 Posted July 4, 2007 So Ethansgrandma- what have you been eating? Has your hunger returned?? Mine is starting to awaken and I am freaking out over here!! Today I decided I am going to watch every calorie that goes in and I am really sticking to Protein Shakes during the day! Tell me what you have been doing. Oh by the way- how was your time with the band before the slip??? Please let me know how your road was before you lost it. Thanks,
ethansgrandma 0 Posted July 5, 2007 Indeed, my appetite has returned. Im back to dieting again. I've gained about 20lbs since I lost my band. This really bites. Im trying and I think the only thing that is saving me from total explosion is that I am still going to the gym. It seems like every monday rolls around and I say, ok, this week is going to be different. Im really getting discouraged. But, I keep plugging on. I think I will try talking to my doc to see if there is any way to do this again before October. My life before losing the band was ideal. My restriction was perfect, I was losing, and totally happy. If it hadnt been for getting a horrible case of bronchitis, I would still have my band. Anyway, here goes, another day.
