Ok breathe calm down. .... are u supposed to be having these goods in these amounts? What has your dr or dietician told u to do ? Were you given a list of allowed goods and amounts for each stage? With a timeline or sample of what your day should look like nutrition wise for the stage your at follow whatever instructions u were given by your team with soft liquid type foods u may not feel full so be careful and speak to your medical team good luck

Call your nutritionist, review your eating with her. Set a goal for calories and amounts.

The advice given sounds good.

I am in full liquid stage and would be if I were 2 weeks out. The foods you ate are not on my list, but I know different places and doctors do different things.

How did you feel after eating? I goofed today. I fixed about a cup of Protein shake and drank it too fast. I did not feel good at all. I'm glad in a way that it happened so that I will remember to be more cautious. We are going to make mistakes. What you did does not sound like enough to open you sleeve. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

When I was on full liquids everything except the baby bell would have been acceptable. It's nice to get other opinions and experiences here, but you should use you medical team as your determining factor. Different doctor's have different protocols.

Everybody's program is different. At 10 days out I moved to solids and was able to have lean Proteins and non-starchy veggies.

Follow whatever your nutritionist and surgeon says and you'll be good to go.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
