alindsey 230 Posted July 2, 2015 Only weighing on Mondays from here on out!! I'm 4 weeks out and down about 15-20 lbs I find that the daily fluctuations in weight from 1-5 lbs just upsets me!!!!! Ugh!
ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted July 2, 2015 I feel your pain! lol I weigh 2-3 times a week just because I get a sudden urge just to check but I go with what I get every sunday. It really does fluctuate too much from day to day! Good luck!

Rosemary140 15 Posted July 2, 2015 Me, too. I have to remind myself it took me a lifetime to get here, it won't all change over night.
maggie409 765 Posted July 2, 2015 I sent my scale to my daughters house down the road. I weigh once a week only.
cjnorris 103 Posted July 2, 2015 Don't be a prisoner to that scale..get your Protein, fluids and Vitamins and you will succeed. I only weigh at my dr office.

losinit512 12 Posted July 9, 2015 Whew! I thought it was just me getting frustrated with my scale. I had my 2 week post op on Monday and got the green light to start full liquids. The doctor said that once my calorie intake increases that the weight will come off. I was only getting in 300-400 calories during my 2 week clear liquid stage so I guess we'll see how it goes. I feel like I'm constantly reminding myself to eat these days. Why couldn't that have happened years ago??

allyray 108 Posted July 10, 2015 I am just a little over 4 weeks out (surgery June 8, 2015) and only weighed myself when I got home from the hospital and had gained so much Fluid from surgery(7 lbs) thst I made the decision to only weigh myself monthly so when I weighed myself at 4 weeks I was pleasantly surprised I had lost 20 lbs! I don't want to get discouraged by stalls, etc, so I'm concentrating on how my clothes fit and how good I feel instead. It's really a freeing feeling to not be so tied to the scale!!!! Good luck!! jane13 2,256 Posted July 10, 2015 I am a scale junkie and its like crack to me...right now I am in a two week stall and I am really pissed at my scale. I may sit it outside in the Florida heat when I get home and let it sweat!

cjnorris 103 Posted July 18, 2015 I only weigh at my dr appointments. I refused to let the scale have power over me. Follow your plan, get your Protein and fluids and the weigh will come off. Good plan on your part. Best of luck
