It takes me about 45 - hour to drink it all down. The reason why I go with 12 oz is because I bought the vanilla Unjury, and it's too strong with 8 oz of milk. 12 oz makes it taste better, and sometimes I add 2 tablespoons of PB2 to make it a Peanut Butter Protein drink.
