cuchas 51 Posted June 30, 2015 I'm going to order some Premier Protein today because the Protein I have been drinking tastes like absolute crap???? I did notice though because of my lack of drinking it, I haven't lost that much weight. In total since June 15, I have lost 33 pounds. But I've noticed a bit of a stall. In the last couple of days, I have only lost 3 pounds and j think it's because of the lack of protein. If we don't drink enough protein, will we stop losing weight? _Kate_ 2,224 Posted June 30, 2015 June 15 to now .. 33llbs is a fantastic loss !! Stop weighing yourself every day if you can and make it weekly. If you read a lot of the past posts on stalls you will see if it's normal. You are doing great, remember that Hugs Kate
onesleevedmamma 178 Posted June 30, 2015 Protein can be critical. It prevents your body from loosing muscle and it looses fat instead. Also, anemia and other complications can occur from not getting enough protein. Like the above posts say, stalls are totally normal. Everyone is different. It was suggested to me that at day 6 or 7 of a stall (early on after surgery) starting to log what you are eating and see if there is a diet reason for the stall. Also, either way you can go back to liquids and walk a little more to kick the body back into gear
maggie409 765 Posted June 30, 2015 I agree! 33 pounds since June 15th is amazing. I was sleeved on June 15 and I have lost a total of 22 including my 3 week pre-op diet. I have only lost 7 pounds since I was sleeved. I am only weighing once a week.
