Aetna Ins. Approval?

Hi, I was told by the Ins. area at the Doctors and Hospital that my Ins. Co Aetna could take up to 2 to 4 weeks to give us the go ahead with surgery HELP! Is this true with anyone else?

My Aetna approval was less than 24 hours.

Mine took one week after entire package was submitted by office/all prerequisites met. Surgeon office called me.
