May 13 Sleevers or close to it

Recommended Posts

Just curious how everyone else is doing. SW was 205 and my cw is 184. I'm having a hard time eating. I get full so fast. Not enjoying any meals. I'm hoping things get better. On the bright side I feel so much better. I guess I just have to develop a new relationship with food.

I am one week ahead of you - are you varying your selection of Proteins? I still struggle with the Water thing but I am getting a lot closer. I also season my food with non salt type stuff. If I am only going to get a 1/2 a cup maybe 3/4 it better taste good and not be bland.

you are doing great with your weight loss. be thankful you are not fighting hunger:D

May 12th Sleeve. Sw 256. Cw 203. No more pain all over my body when I wake up, and definitely more energy. My Water bottle is in hand everywhere I go and sits with me at home. I still only get 24-36oz a day. Not drinking any other liquids. Just Water.< /p>

food is going ok. I get close to the Protein goal.

I feel good, I'm more confident and happy. Not because I'm thinner, but because I'm sleeping better and waking up happy and able to see future non surgical victories and the activities I will be able to do

Congrats on your progress!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
