I go in at 8:30 in the morning! It's finally time.

I've worked so hard for this. All of the people on here give great insight as to what to expect. I'm ready.

Hey, how are you doing! I am so sorry I am having a hard time learning how to reply and respond back on this sight. I'll get it soon I guess.

Not sure how it's works for you, but when using the app on my phone and I want to reply to someone's post, I hit their post to highlight it, then I hit the message icon at the top. It'll provide the person's quote/post, then I text my post.

If I just want to reply to the entire post, I just hit the quick reply at the bottom.

Hope that helps. I don't normally use my computer to post, so I'm not so sure how that part works.

Thank you... Right after I posted that message, I took the cover off my iPad and saw the reply bar that was hidden under the iPad cover. So I think I am good. God bless.

I'm doing great. Home the day after surgery. No pain after the 4th day. By day 5 I was able to get my Protein quota. Water was easy and I've been able to fulfill my quota most days.

It's been a great experience so far.

Today is day 22. Only issues are the fact that I'm so tired I can't do much more than take a shower.

And I haven't lost a single pound since day 7......

Aaaarrrrrgghhh.

But I'm patient.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
