June 2007 Bandster Calender

Recommended Posts

Waters,

I've added you to the calender and will repost it soon. I'm sorry you can't open it. It is a Word file. Unfortunately , I can't post the calender itself here anymore. The site doesn't support the format and when I post it it's a jumbled mess. The same happened to the May 2007 calender. But you are there (along with 130+ others!!)

Thank you sooo for including me. I do have a viewpoint question for anyone in my stage - at 3 weeks. I feel hungry about every 3 hours. When I eat, I can only eat about 4 bites. Is this normal? I'm trying not to eat when I am hungry. I'm just uncomfortable.

I got banded on June 28, 2007. I have been so hungry the last couple weeks because my doctor doesn't do fills until 6 week. I don't go until August 1. I hope I have lost at least some weight.

I was banded 6/21/07. I have a question for fellow June bandits. How is your hunger level and what do you eat at this point? I've never woken up hungry and since the band I wake up starving in the middle of the night!!! This isn't a good thing. Suggestions?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
