Ready set go! 20 Posted June 28, 2015 Hi all! I was sleeved on April 28th of this year. Highest weight 318 day if surgery 294 weight tonight 253! Holla???????? I pretty much eat what I want except I've not tried pickles, lettuce, or any other raw veggie. 3-4 ounces a meal. Only drinking one Premier Protein shake a day at 30 g per shake. Hoping I'm getting the other 30 required thru my diet. Sadly if I'm not cautiously aware of my Fluid intake I still don't get all my fluids in???? Meds lets see still on my Prilosec, actigall 2x daily, synthroid, and multi Vitamin. I don't take any other vitamin supplements was wondering do you all take a Calcium supplement? I've not had any blood work yet and not sure when I'll have to do that. I've not had any complications praise God for that. I ate entirely to fast one morning and did get sick 4 x before I finally felt better. Lessened learned! So this is me checking in how is everyone else? Would love to hear about you all! Soma 1 Posted June 28, 2015 (edited) Just be careful what you eat.... Stay away from greasy food and slider foods. You will be fine as long as you eat healthy and exercise a little. Also, i use a timer on my phone which beeps or vibrates every 7 minutes to remind me to drink Water, try this if you are not able to keep up the Water intake which helps with weight loss (and the easy passage of your stool ). You don't want your pipe clogged, do you? Oh, and you need a minimum of 2 litres of water a day, so get started Edited June 28, 2015 by Soma
Yrkybarry 40 Posted June 28, 2015 I was sleeved April 23rd down 50lbs..since surgery. I was a bit liberal with my eating this evening because I was finally able to eat without feeling sick. I didn't go nuts but had a bite of an onion ring and a bite of a mozzarella stick...only a bite. I do feel a bit guilty about it. I don't plan on making a habit of eating unhealthy foods! I rarely hit the calorie intake my surgeon would like me to and am religious about exercise. I also spent 3 hours planning and prepping healthy, Protein filled lunches. Here's to good health! rp1980 116 Posted June 30, 2015 I was sleeved on April 6. I've lost about 65 lbs since my two-week pre op diet. CW 260 (I'm 5'8). I can pretty much eat whatever I want, I've tried raw veggies, tender beef, and even some "bad" food. No rice or Pasta yet. I'm pretty good about Protein first and getting in my Water. I exercise three times a week. I only take my multi Vitamin and Calcium. I try to keep my protein around 80g and my carbs below 50g. So far, so good! Good luck all! Mandyctr 75 Posted June 30, 2015 I was sleeved Apr 15. I'm down from 243 to 195.6 and it'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. I'm pretty happy with the results. I don't get enough Fluid in most days which I'm really trying to buckle down on now. It's nice to be back in onederland. I walk my dog every day and hike about 4 miles with my family each week, but I'm starting couch to 5k with some friends this week and adding yoga and resistance next week. I actually waited on purpose to start exercise until my body was more adapted to my new diet and my planters fisheitas is much less painful with almost 50 pounds less weight. I'm good about my food choices 95 percent of the time but have tried a bite here and there of bad things like birthday cake or chips. What's really great is a bite or two is totally satisfying for me. I know people say don't touch bad stuff, but imp trying to live my life now like I always will. Workout, eat well most of the time and indulge sometimes to keep me from binging and frankly, that works better for me. If I say no to something, and I break that I just say screw it. But if nothing is off limits (in very careful moderation), it's easier for me. And it's working. I'm not trying to sprint to a weight I cannot maintain. I'm trying to work with my body and mind and get somewhere we can all feel good about and maintain. And good job everyone! Keep it up.

Mandyctr 75 Posted June 30, 2015 Thanks! Congrats to you too. It's good to know that you think c25k is doable because I'm a little apprehensive. That makes me feel better:).
