lisaluvsgreys 48 Posted June 28, 2015 Just for a week. I decided to have my surgery last week. I had band removal and hiatal hernia repair scheduled for June 26. In the mean time I had a gallbladder attack, and decided to add that to the list! At my pre-op appt, my Dr asked why I still had not considered the sleeve. I told him I did, but I'd have to pay cash, and did not have the amount they quoted a year ago. He called his patient advocate, who called around and quoted me a significant lower price. I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes, so I decided to add the sleeve. I have been thinking of getting the sleeve for several years, but did not think I could afford it. Very nervous about getting the procedure after all the negative stories for people that have had band to sleeve. I'm so hungry on the liquids after an hour! Praying the Sleeve will give me restriction! I just want this band out too! It causes so much discomfort! I hope you are a success story! ????
xxjosettexx 72 Posted June 28, 2015 I'm 5 days out and can drink lots of liquid too. Top that off with only a 3 pound loss since surgery, and that really scares me!
Soapandcandlequeen 124 Posted June 30, 2015 I am so glad someone posted this. According to my food plan I should be eating between 400 to 600 calories on week 4. I can eat a peach, no problem. I can take 16 oz Protein Drink no problem. It takes me longer to eat now but I can pretty much eat anything. I am trying to be careful to eat the right foods. I don't really feel hungry but I can usually tell when I need to 31st by my tummy growling a bit. I am worried at how much I can eat
