michellyoh 0 Posted June 26, 2007 Oh holy moly!! My mood swings are OUT of control!!!! I was banded on 05/31/07, and I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this. I'm usually a pretty laid back person, but it takes NOTHING to set me off now!! Grrrrrrr! What is happening to me?
beachgirl 2 Posted June 26, 2007 I'm seem to be too. Glad it's not just me. I've never been on any depression meds are anything so my pcp put me on adtivan, the lowest dose a couple of months ago and I swear I think it makes me worse. Any ideas? Hope your feeling better soon.
LadyBlue 0 Posted June 26, 2007 I've noticed a little of that myself. My theory is that it's a combination of a lot less food than we're used to, as well as basically losing our "best friend" -- we no longer have that "comfort" anytime we want and the body is reacting to that. Once the "greiving" is over and the body adjusts, I think it will get better. JMHO!!!
violeteyes37 0 Posted June 26, 2007 I know I am and my brother keeps reminding me of the fact. My family likes to get together on the weekends and drink and eat and now since I cant be a part of that at this time, I find it easier to keep my distance instead of being tempted by the things I cant have. He called me last night to discuss what I will and will not beable to have the the 4th of July. Im so happy that I will be on soft foods and can have fish, so he is planning me a menu so that I wont feel left out. :hungry:
travelgirl 3 Posted June 26, 2007 ME TOO!!! But it has nothing to do with the band (for me). I just work with a bunch of bleeping bleepers that are going to drive me to drink yet..... I just want to run through the building screaming.... "JUST DO YOUR DAMN JOB, AND NO ONE GETS HURT!!!!!!!!!" (no, I don't work in a post office...)
charsweb 0 Posted June 30, 2007 I have been miserable, I'm on liquids right now because I just had a fill. I can't eat real food and the constant hunger has been driving me mad the last couple days. Right now I'm trying a cream Tomato Soup, hoping that will shut my hunger pains up for awhile. It's like I'm coming off an addiction I swear ! :cry
kadrianmatthews 0 Posted June 30, 2007 I JOIN THE CRANKY BANDWAGON (no pun intended). I JUST REALLY NOTICED IT TODAY I'M USUALLY A SEMI-CALM PERSON. TODAY I WENT OFF THIS GUY AT WORK AND MADE THE WHOLE OFFICE COME TO A STANDSTILL. I HOPE THIS GOES AWAY REAL SOON. I DONT THINK PEOPLE LIKED SEEING ME THAT WAY. HELL I DIDN'T LIKE SEEING ME THAT WAY GLAD TO KNOW THAT I'M NOT ALONE.

vixie 0 Posted July 3, 2007 You probably used to use food to cope with stress. Now that food has gone "bye bye", you dont have an avenue to reduce your stress. You need to find some other way to unwind, maybe try working out. Dont let yourself get into the habit of unloading on loved ones to reduce your stress. My mother was like that her entire life. She'd be as happy as could be until she got home from work and tore us a all a "new one." Then she'd feel much better, but the rest of us would feel like crap. Nip it in the bud now before it gets out of hand.
michellyoh 0 Posted July 3, 2007 Vixie!! You are totally correct!! I'm pretty sure this has been the issue! Someone else mentioned it last week, and after thinking about it and talking about it, I have been MUCH better!!! Luckily, I wasn't taking it out on my friends and family. maryrose 2 Posted July 4, 2007 Its a woman thing! I was absolutely wonderfull. No problemo. __________________ Come on Matt...fess up...you weren't just a weeee cranky? hee..hee Michell, I think a lot has to do with being under so much pressure. There is a lot involved with this band and sometimes it can get to you. I don't think our family/friends realize how much we put into this. I don't know how women with small kids do it...I would snap!
